A few details help explain this feature. Choose one suit, two suits or four suits using the game controls. The game still uses 104 cards in ten columns. The objective remains eight complete same-suit King-to-Ace runs. Relaxed Spider on mdhulian.com permits stock deals while columns are empty.

Deal into empty columns

The relaxed stock rule does not change the rank requirement for ordinary moves. The relaxed stock rule does not allow mixed-suit groups to move together. An empty column no longer prevents a stock deal in this variant. A stock card dealt to an empty column becomes that column's first face-up card.

Read the opening

Keep these points in mind. The opening tableau contains 54 cards. Only the bottom card of each opening column is face up. The first four columns have six cards each and the remaining six have five. The stock contains fifty cards for five later deals.

Descending rank placement

The following details apply here. The two cards do not need to share a suit for a single-card placement. An Ace cannot receive a lower-ranked card. An exposed card may land on another exposed card exactly one rank higher. A King needs an empty destination because no rank is higher.

Follow one suit

Here are the details for this mode. Same-suit building can reduce the work needed to separate mixed sequences later. A break in rank prevents the entire selected group from moving together. A suit change can leave a smaller movable group at the bottom of a column. A descending group moves as a unit only when every selected card shares a suit.

Use empty columns thoughtfully

Here are the details for this mode. You may preserve an empty column until you decide to deal from the stock. Any exposed card or legal same-suit group can occupy an empty column. Empty columns remain useful for separating temporary mixed builds. A new stock row fills every empty column with one card.

Bring in another row

A few details help explain this feature. Dealing can block an existing sequence as well as reveal new combinations. A stock deal places one card onto each of the ten columns. Undo restores the previous arrangement when the stock-deal snapshot is available. You cannot direct an individual stock card to a chosen destination.

Clear the table

Here are the details for this mode. Changing the number of suits does not change the number of required runs. The game removes a complete run automatically at the bottom of a column. A complete run contains thirteen face-up cards in one suit from King to Ace. Eight collected runs are required to finish Relaxed Spider.

Try another decision

Keep these points in mind. Replay restores the same shuffle for another attempt. New game creates a fresh shuffle in the selected suit setting. Hints identify legal options without guaranteeing a win. Random relaxed deals are not presented as guaranteed solvable.
